The Lost Child

Lost places are very rarely lost to themselves. To us they are totally secret, totally unknown, but to themselves, they are as found as the sea is wide. Ask them how they feel about it and they'd probably say, "we're not lost...you are."

To the hiding place, we are the lost child. To us, they are the lost place. Both of us are right; after all, lost is just something that was hidden so long ago that no one remembers the hiding place.

Hidden places exist everywhere, both in the world, and inside ourselves. Deep in our spirits lay vast caverns of untapped things...ideas, desires, beliefs...some good, some we don't want.

Some we used to know about, and purposefully made them lost places so we wouldn't ever find them again. It's those hiding places that really need to be revealed.
